September findet heuer zum zweiten Mal das Jazz-Festival \u201eTake the A-Train\u201c an zahlreichen Locations rund um den Bahnhof statt. \u00a0Die Musik steht als verbindendes Element f\u00fcr ein gemeinsames offenes Europa und tr\u00e4gt das Motto \u201eOrient-Express statt Balkanroute\u201c. \u201eAus mir nicht nachvollziehbaren Gr\u00fcnden stimmte die \u00d6VP auch heute wieder gegen die Projektf\u00f6rderung in der H\u00f6he von 20.000 Euro. Ich freue mich, dass wir diese dennoch mehrheitlich beschlie\u00dfen konnten\u201c, betont Kultursprecher, Gemeinderat Sebastian Lankes anschlie\u00dfend an den Kulturausschuss. <\/strong><\/p>\n<p>\u201eDie Organisatoren rund um Andreas Neumayer vom Jazzit, die in der Szene fest verankert sind, stellen zum zweiten Mal \u00a0ein ambitioniertes Festival auf die Beine, das die Salzburger Musikszene miteinbindet und dabei vor allem Jugendf\u00f6rderung betreibt\u201c, so Lankes weiter. Im Vergleich zum Vorjahr wird zudem eine gro\u00dfe indoor Location im alten Postwaggon im Bahnhof Itzling zur Verf\u00fcgung stehen. Zus\u00e4tzliche neue Locations rund um den Bahnhof, eine \u00fcberdachte B\u00fchne f\u00fcr den Bahnhofsvorplatz bzw. Forum 1, und eine Neuinszenierung f\u00fcr O-Bus und Lokalbahn stehen ebenso auf dem Programm.<\/p>\n<p>\u201eDie Ablehnung der \u00d6VP ist auch heuer nicht nachvollziehbar, da das Festival \u201eJazz and the City\u201c erst zu einem sp\u00e4teren Zeitpunkt stattfindet, ein v\u00f6llig anderes Programm liefert, und nur in der Altstadt stattfindet. \u201eTake the A-Train\u201c ist eine Plattform f\u00fcr Nachwuchs Jazz-K\u00fcnstlerInnen, bietet diesen ein Sprungbrett und spricht prim\u00e4r ein junges Publikum an. Zudem soll auch Zuwanderern, in enger Kooperation mit der Caritas, ein musikalisches Sprachrohr gegeben werden. Rundum ist dieses Festival eine gute Erg\u00e4nzung f\u00fcr das musikalische Open-Air-Programm in Salzburg.
